As from 1st April 2015, it is no longer a regulatory requirement for solicitors to undertake the Management Course Stage 1. However, these topics remain hugely relevant as all solicitors are required, as part of the new competency statement, to be able to "Manage themselves and their own work" (Part D).
The focus of this excellent course is to explain the business rationale behind law firm management, prioritise delivery of excellent service to your clients and prepare lawyers to manage successful teams.
