If you’ve been living under a rock, you might have missed the SRA’s new CPD regime which will be compulsory for all solicitors from 1st November 2016. Most of you will know already that the “16 hours” requirement is being consigned to the dustbin of history. And in its place comes, er, solicitors taking full responsibility for their own training and signing an annual declaration that they have addressed their learning needs.
