We had a great day at the CHO annual conference on 12th October, promoting our Credit Hire training, it was nice to see and talk to some familiar faces and some new ones.
There were some interesting topics discussed throughout the day. The counter- fraud platform and tackling fraud discussion was very informative, raising awareness of a growing problem not only in the industry, but in the wider communities.
A very heart felt talk from Elene Maynard-Scantlebury form Dementia UK, focusing on raising awareness of how this disease also affects those around someone with Dementia, and how the Admiral nurses can help, and what they do.
There a was also a very insightful talk from Crescens George from the Wiser Academy, who highlighted the importance of recognising and developing overlooked talent and helping people to access training and qualifications in order to develop their careers.
