Rachael Davis-Stollar
Rachael is a qualified lawyer, experienced professional skills trainer and coach. She devises and delivers training in commerciality, client relationships, networking, profile-raising, public speaking, personal efficiency and communication skills (both written and oral). She also delivers all three mandatory Solicitors Regulation Authority courses for trainee solicitors, and tailored courses for legal apprentices. Rachael is a Visiting Lecturer at the University of Hertfordshire Business School with a particular focus on leadership and management. She lectures on the MSc Business and Organisational Strategy, and co-facilitates the Social Enterprise Leadership Foundation programme every summer.
Rachael graduated from the University of Nottingham with a first-class degree in Politics. She practised in the City throughout her career as a finance and restructuring lawyer, working in law firms and also in a commercial role with a listed property development company.
Rachael has a range of voluntary commitments. She has previously chaired the Board of Young Norwood (part of the national charity which supports children, families and adults with disadvantage or learning disabilities) and is Chair of the panel of judges and host of the annual Volunteer Recognition Awards. Rachael also sits on the Board of Trustees of her local arts/cultural centre, and has been a Careers Academy UK mentor. Apart from spending time with family and friends, Rachael’s other interests include visiting the theatre, catching up on films she should really have already watched, and occasional but enthusiastic attempts at karaoke.
