Assessing RTA liability: E-learning

Our bank of over 70 animated accident scenarios will teach RTA claims handlers and fee-earners all about liability.

How do they work?

Users watch an animated accident and then allocate liability between the vehicles.

They can watch the accident as as many times as they like before making a decision. Once they’ve allocated liability users are reminded of the relevant sections of the Highway Code, pointed towards any relevant case law and they get tips on what evidence would assist them in establishing liability.

At the end there is a video of a barrister analysing the case and giving a view on the likely outcome if the case were to go to court. So users can see how their own view on liability compares.

Current accident scenarios include:

  • Carparks
  • Country roads (animals)
  • Cyclists
  • Emergency vehicles
  • Motorbikes
  • Pedestrians
  • Roundabouts
  • Turning left

And we’re adding new ones all the time. You can see the current range on our RTA Claims page.

Test your team

We also have an online quiz with 8 accident scenarios so you can assess your claims handlers.

You can use the quiz as a training tool to check understanding and it's also great for recruitment.

We can provide monitoring and reporting.
