Synopsis

Our engaging workshop based training covers the legal basis for special damages claims, gathering relevant evidence and making sure that heads of claim are not missed.

Special damages are a critical aspect of a claimant's compensation claim, ensuring that all the financial losses and expenses incurred as a result of the road traffic accident are fully recovered.

 

Outcomes

This course explores special damages in RTA personal injury claims including awards for treatment, loss of earnings, care, and other heads of loss.

Course Content

Obtaining the relevant evidence and calculating the special damages that form part of a claimant's compensation claim is a key part of representing your client.

    • The effects of a CRU certificate
  • Drafting the schedule
    • Drafting the narrative for gratuitous care claims
