Our PSC Client Care & Professional Standards course puts your trainees in the hot-seat, identifying professional problems and finding practical and ethical solutions.

Course Content
This course is all about practice, not theory. Trainees have to deal with a range of CRM and professional issues as they progress through four “seats” in different departments. Working out what to do in different situations helps them with compliance and risk management, and so provides realistic and genuine preparation for professional practice.
Content
The course is divided into three parts.
Part I: Client care and communication skills
Examines client relationship management from several different perspectives to help trainees develop a client-centred focus. Uses your firm’s documents to support your approach to CRM.
Part II: Professional standards
Covers the core obligations of solicitors and applying the SRA Standards and Regulations in commercial practice. Uses your firm’s documents, procedures and protocols to help embed your approach to risk management.
Part III: Work and case management
Helps trainees with techniques for managing their workload as the pressures from colleagues and clients increase
