Our training for legal apprentices and paralegals provides a foundation for building the trusted and skilled lawyers of the future.
Our training is ideal for legal apprentices even if they are already following a specific training route. Our courses will complement their training and support the development of legal and professional skills like case analysis, legal writing, negotiation, and managing time.
Our training is also ideal for paralegals, legal assistants, claims handlers and litigation executives working in different roles in law firms, local authorities, corporate businesses and even in the courts.
We use a range of training techniques from video to practical exercises and individual feedback helps to improve skills in line with current experience. Our training is always focussed, engaging and imaginative. Most importantly, we always aim to ensure that new skills can be put to work straight away.

The sessions yesterday were by far some of the best / most helpful training sessions I’ve attended at Stephenson Harwood since I joined (about 4 years ago!). James is extremely engaging, friendly, and easy-going. The content was very relevant (so most of us felt very comfortable asking questions). Written exercises were also on-point.
I especially appreciated him drawing his experience from practising as a barrister in training sessions. I think it's good to hear from a legal practitioner in our training sessions so we can have a bit of perspective from that aspect, not just the theoretical side of things!
Overall, I would love to attend future training by James.
